Hon L.B Ayeni sues for love, peace during Christmas, just as he appreciates Radiant Club, Ilesa, Friends of Ayeni, others who organised fund raising for his campaign.

has rejoiced Https:// ith Christians on the occasion of this year's Christmas celebration.

This is contained in his congratulatory message to the people of Ijesaland.

The forefront philanthropist in Osun, urged Christians to imbibe the spirit of love during and after the Christmas celebration.

He said that Christmas was a season of giving and showing of love as depicted by Jesus Christ.

Hon Ayeni urged people to celebrate this season bearing in mind the reason for the season, which according to him, is the birth of Jesus Christ through whom mankind redemption and salvation came.

He therefore wished
the people of Ijesaland, Osun and Nigeria as a whole  a very joyous Christmas celebration, and year 2019.

The grassroot politician ,however urged people not to wait to receive only but also remember to give to the less privileged people in fulfillment of the essence of Christmas.

In the meantime , Hon Ayeni has also thanked the Radiant Club of Ilesa under the leadership of Chief Sunday Karfi , Friends of Ayeni (FOA), the Parliamentarians in Ijesaland, APC leaders and members, Chief Remi Olowu and the leadership of SDP in Ijesaland amongst others for the honour done on him by organising a fund raising for his political campaign ahead of the 2019 elections

The event which attracted dignitaries across political divides, held at the Foundation Hotel, Ido Ijesa last Sunday.

Christmas: Olohunwa greets Nigerians, urges love, tolerance

A leading house of representative candidate for ila/ifedayo/boluwaduro of Osun State on the platform of the people's democratic party pdp , Hon. Clement Akanni Olohunwa, has enjoined Nigerians especially Christians across ila federal constituency  to imbibe and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ by upholding his virtues and ideals.
In a special Christmas message signed by Olohunwa said that the 2018 Christmas which is to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ is significant, calling on citizens to see the celebration as an avenue for the rededication of their lives to service and nation building, the pdp candidate for ila federal constituency Hon clement urged for genuine love, respect for one another, generosity and kindness in the society.
Olohunwa, a current member of the state Assembly said: “Christmas signifies hope and salvation brought to the world in need of redemption. The world would be a better place if the values and virtues reflected by the holy birth of Christ, especially love for one another were practiced faithfully.
He enjoin all residents in the state to continue their support for the people Democratic party pdp in the coming general elections, adding that the party is poised for giant strides in the New Year.

My intention to contest was bore out from the passion,commitment and apt dedication I have towards uplifting the image of the Association.

I realized that it is expected of me to contribute my utmost quota to the development of our dearest Association INSA NHQ.

I realized that it is expected of me to build on the success stories of our predecessors and restore that good image, character and reputation of INSA that each and every one of us will be buoyantly proud of.

I realized as a youth able, agile and intelligent, it dawned on us the responsibility to serve the interest of our Students in Higher institutions.

Alleged invasion: Residents of Inila Ijesa in Obokun Council Area of Osun warn Illegal miners to stop wanton destruction of their farmlands.

Residents of Inila Ijesa community near Ibala in Obokun local government area have appealed to government of Osun to as a matter of urgency check the  criminal activities of illegal miners in the community , and across Ijesaland.

This is coming on the heel of an alleged attack on some farmers by suspected miners who were largely from the northern part of the country.

The farm owner simply identified as Baba Ola, and wife narrowly escaped been killed by whisker.

According to report, some illegal miners yesterday invaded a cocoa plantation known as Oko baba Ola in Inila-Ijesa , and started mining , destroying several cocoa stands in the processes.

It was gathered that police have arrested some of the suspects .

Meanwhile, concerned residents of the area have warned Illegal miners ,to stop destroying cash crops and others farm produces in Inila Ijesa.

The people eulogised the DPO Ibokun for acting fast, and equally arrested about 5 suspects in connection with the alleged invasion and threat to life.

They therefore urged Governor Gboyega Oyetola, to put mechanism in place , to check the excesses of the  illegal miners, who have continued in a brazen manner, destroying huge farmlands in Ijesaland, while searching for gold , and other mineral resources, that are largely deposited in Ijesaland.

While reacting , Hon Oladiran Ashaolu who is the House leader of Obokun Council Area , warned the leadership of Hausa , Fulani , Kadarah communities and a host of others ,to desist from such barbaric attitude, adding that the people of Inila Ijesa will do everything possible to resist invasion , and threat to their peace.

2019:Candidate of Zenith Labour Party for Oriade State Constituency Hon. Gbenga Ajayi Urges youths, women ,others to vote for him.

As Christmas celebration is around the corner, Hon Gbenga Ajayi has called on Nigerians, especially Christians, to offer prayers to God to enable the country overcome its current challenges.


Hon Ajayi who wants to represent the people of Oriade State constituency under the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) enjoined the people to show tolerance ,and give out to others ,particularly to the needy.


He reminds those in the position of authorities to make policies that will make life more bearable and meaningful for the poor masses.


According to him, poverty and insecurity are biting hard on the masses as they are all seeking a better world and a better Nigeria.


While speaking on the 2019 elections,Hon Ajayi boasted that Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) will spring surprise ,just as he assured the people of Oriade council area of Osun of a greater future through effective and efficient representation , if elected to represent them at the state House of Assembly.


The Ipetu-Ijesa born technocrat ,whose campaigns slogan is 'Iyipada Otun 2019' urged youths and women to actively participate in the electoral processes , to enable them have a secured future.

'I implore you all, men and women ,aged as well as youths in Oriade ,to vote for me ,to represent you at the Osun House of Assembly in 2019 for positive change' said Hon Gbenga Ajayi.

Chairman Oriade Council Area of Osun Hon Bunmi Obesun assure residents of adequate security.


Following the release of the abducted staffs of Osun state polytechnic, Esa-Oke who were recently abducted on Ijebu-jesa - Esaoke road , the executive chairman of the council, Hon Bunmi Obesun has assured the people of Oriade of a watertight security before, during and after the festive season.

Hon Obesun made this known while confirming to journalists the release of victims.

While appreciating the gallantry displayed of various security operatives, including the vigilante groups during the trying period, Hon Obesun sympathised with family of the victims.

' As I always say that the victory of evil is only temporary but the victory of good over evil is eternal and permanent' said Hon Obesun.

'We appreciate the police, her sister security agencies, our most revered royal fathers, hunters and the good people of Oriade and Obokun council areas for standing by us during the trying period' he added.

Quoting the Council Boss, Mr Niyi Odina who is the Chief Press Secretary to the council said   Hon Obesun -the chairman Oriade council area assured the people of their safety just as he charged members of the public to be sensitive to the happenings around them, to report strange faces, saying that will help the police to effectively and efficiently police the community.

Hon Obesun ,therefore prayed that such dastardly act will never happen in Oriade ,and environs again.

Ahead of the 2019 polls, thousands of beneficiaries of the empowerment programs put together by Hon
Olalekan Fabayo have passed vote of confidence on him as the only credible candidate for the House of Assembly in Ila State Constituency.

The people expressed readiness to support the prolific young politician, just as they called on those of voting age in Ila to vote for Fabayo.




In a chat with newsmen, the candidate of the Restoration Party of Nigeria RP for osun state house of assembly ila state constituency, Hon Olalekan Fabayo urged Nigerians to make sacrifices to enable the country attain greatness.

Fabayo made this known while presenting certificates to the beneficiaries of his free empowerment training program (Offep )organized for the people the constituency at the Orangun palace Ila Orangun.










Hon Fabayo said the gesture was aimed at developing the town, adding that government cannot do it alone.

Fabayo noted that Ila state constituency does not belong to one individual but all, irrespective of political affiliations, urging the beneficiary to always put the town first in all their dealings.






Speakers at the program included Comrade Damilare Oguntola , Mr Ayodeji Olopade, Mr Alade Bello and Hajia Ramota Isola among others, they all maintained that  Hon Olalekan Fabayo has proved and presented himself as a worthy candidate to represent Ila state constituency comes 2019.

2019:APC Candidate for Ijesa South Federal Constituency Hon L.B Ayeni visits Owa Obokun of Ijesaland for royal blessings.


The Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran has advocated peaceful conduct among politicians during the electioneering campaign for  the next year's general elections.

Oba Aromolaran stated this while receiving the candidate of the All progressive Congress, for Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the election, Chief Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni in his palace.

Oba Adekunle Aromolaran urged politicians and their supporters to make their campaigns issues based and void of calumny.

The paramount ruler who lauded Mr Ayeni for his various empowerment programmes for the youths in Ijesaland advised him not to relent in his philanthropic gesture.

Earlier, chief Ayeni said he was in the palace to intimate his imperial majesty of his intention to contest for the seat of ijesa south in the house of representatives  and to seek his royal blessings, promised not to disappoint the people of the constituency ,who have continually given him overwhelming supports towards his victory at the poll.

Nigerian deserves significant change as nobody can rig 2019 election- Adelowokan


The people Democratic party pdp candidate for ijesa south federal constituency in the coming  general elections, Hon, Adedapo Ayodeji Adelowokan has assured  that with the joint efforts of  Nigerians it will be difficult  for anybody  to rig the 2019 general elections adding that the country deserve drastic change of government.
Hon Adelowokan  stated this in ilesha while speaking with Newsmen he said the APC lead Government  under president  Muhammadu Buhari has let the country down and shoud be shown the exit door.
The pdp candidate for ijesa south federal constituency assured the people of the constituency that the People Democratic  Party would not be intimidated from holding the government accountable, just as it will continue to speak the truth in defense of democracy.
Adelowokan called on Nigerian to realize that the present situation of the country deserve significant change of government adding that pdp will not allow the Apc  to rig the 2019 elections

Osu Ogudu Agog For Odun Iyo Festival, as Hon L.B Ayeni storms the event with his supporters.


It was a carnival-like  event as sons and daughters of Osu in Atakunmosa West Council Area of Osun  State gathered and celebrated this year's 'Odun Iyo' in a grand style.

The colourful feast was spiced with music, dance and spectacular display by the youths of the ancient town.

However, for guests, who were in Osu for this year’s celebration, the fiesta has become a melting point for culture and politics as supporters and lovers of Hon Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni stormed the venue of the event.

Few poles into the venue of the event- Atakunmosa High School, Osu were supporters of Hon L. B Ayeni -the founder of L B Ayeni Empowerment Foundation.

Addressing newsmen , Hon L.B Ayeni said 'with the rate at which the festival is growing, you don’t necessarily need to be at the main arena to be part of the feast as entertainment was everywhere'.

He urged everyone in Osu, to come together and make the community great.

Hon Ayeni who is the APC candidate for Ijesa south federal constituency in the 2019 elections, thanked the people of Osu , and Atakunmosa West as awhole for their love ,and support , urging them to do more and ensure that they vote for all the APC candidates during the poll.


He said Osu is known for selling a well-packaged Akara , adding that it is the strong wish of every Osu indigenes to bring physical developments to the town as he prayed that by this time next year, people will have good reasons to celebrate together.

He therefore congratulated the Olosu of Osu Oba Jethro Adejola, the chiefs, men and women, youths and the entire residents of Osu, just as he appreciated APC leaders and supporters who graced the annual festival.

Earlier, Oba Jethro Adejola had showered royal blessings on his subjects , invited guests and those who made the ceremony a huge success.

At the event were APC stalwarts that included the Ife/Ijesa Senatorial candidate Hon Israel Ajibola Famurewa, Hon BFK, Hon Otunba Olowoopejobori , Hon Francis Famurewa and a host of others.

'I am hale and hearty' says Owa Obokun of Ijesaland ,Oba Adekunle Aromolaran.

The Paramount ruler of Ijesaland Oba Dr Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran has expressed appreciation to the people who showed concerns over his  rumoured death.

Speaking with some of his Chiefs and people of ijesaland at his palace today , the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Aromolaran said he was hale and hearty against the wish of the waillers.

The paramount ruler who went through the major roads in the city en-route the popular Ilesa roundabout acknowledging pleasantries from his subjects, thanked the people for their support at all times.

The foremost traditional ruler  expressed dismay over the ill wish of some people when he was away for rest.

He wandered why people in this part of the world are so wicked.

It will be recalled that  rumour made the round on Saturday 3rd of November that the Owa Obokun has joined his ancestors.

This is not the first or second time that such rumour will filtered the public.

It would be recalled that about two years ago an online media ,precisely sahara reporter misinformed the public when it pronounced that the present Owa Obokun of Ijesaland had joined his ancestors.

DPC candidate for Ife/Ijesa Senatorial district, Prince Charles Aderinsoye Derin-Ologbenla urges youths to wrestle power from old politicians in the 2019 elections

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, Prince Charles Aderinsoye Derin-Ologbenla has charged Nigerian youths to organize themselves to effect desired positive changes in the nation’s politics.

Derin Ologbenla who is the OSUN east senatorial candidate of the Democratic People's Congress (DPC) in the forthcoming elections gave the charge in a chat with newsmen.

He urged youths to capitalise on their population ,and take their destinies into their hands by insisting on the candidate of their choice.

He also advised youths to de-emphasize money politics, adding that every voter must be determined that money cannot buy their conscience.

The Ife-born insurance broker who has since returned to Nigeria from the United States of America, to contribute his quota to the nation's development, said Nigeria should begin to play the type of politics being played in America, UK, and other civilised nations where accountability and probity are the order of the day.

While urging people to see Democratic People's Congress  (DPC) as a better alternative to APC, SDP and PDP where public office holders have continued to defect at will, with no regards to those who voted then into power, Derin-Ologbenla urged youths to  educate others that their votes are too important to be traded.

The young politician observed that poverty and illiteracy have been the weapons through which politicians have continued to punish the masses.

According to him, the bane of Nigeria's development was lack of accountability by the present leaders.

Prince Derin-Ologbenla said politicians should be held accountable for their lack of performance by being voted out of the office.

Hon L.B Ayeni launches take off grants for thousands of youths, and women in Ijesaland[Photo]

Thousands of residents of Ijesaland, today gathered in Ilesa, the headquarters of the Ijesas as Hon Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni inaugurated financial support scheme for youths in the area.

Speaking at the event , Hon Ayeni who is the flag bearer of the ruling All Progressive Congress for the House of Representatives in Ijesa South federal constituency in the 2019 elections ,told the gathering that the financial support was geared towards ensuring that trainees under his empowerment foundation have access to take off grants.






He said the bank officials at the event will take proper details and documentation of the youths, including men and women, to ensure the success of the scheme.

'I will continue to support people at the grassroot in Ijesaland, even beyond as long as i live, and by the time i get to Abuja to represent the masses, i will introduce more empowerment schemes' said Ayeni.

Hon Ayeni charged voters in Ijesaland to vote enmass for all the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 elections, adding that the almost 4 years of APC government at the center has brought about the much desired changes in some key aspects of the nation,  that will give President Buhari a victory at the 2019 polls. 

Speaking , the bank officials, urged people to key into the vision , just as they thanked Hon Ayeni for the laudable project.

At the event were Hon Ajibola Famurewa, the senatorial candidate of  APC , party faithfuls, and a host of others.
