2019 Elections; Hon Adeyeye Akinson drums support for Buhari, Famurewa, Akol,others.

A grassroot politician in Obokun council area of Osun State, Prince Adeyeye Akinson has cautioned political thugs and their sponsors, against violence during the upcoming general elections.


Akinson gave the caution while speaking on the need for peaceful conduct of the elections.


He said power belonged to God and only Him determines who wins in any election.


Hon Akinson, who is a chieftain of APC in Obokun council area, said the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammodu Buhari had assured Nigerians of adequate security to ensure that the result of the election is credible.


The founder Prince Adeyeye Akinson foundation, also said the APC government has turned around the fortune of the nation in the past four years, adding that what Nigerians are witnessing now from the major  opposition party is an attempt to hijack power, and resume the looting spree of the nation's Commonwealth again.


Hon Akinson, who charged the teeming APC supporters in Obokun, and Oriade Federal constituency to vote APC on Saturday,  however called for unity among all Nigerians irrespective of tribe,political affiliation, religion and other sentiments , for the nation to become great.

Inferno Razes four Shops in ila-orangun, properties, Goods worth millions of naira destroyed.

An early morning inferno at the popular Oba Williams Adetona Ayeni shopping complex ila-orangun area of Osun state today razed about four shops and destroyed property worth millions of naira.
The cause of the fire incident was yet to be unravelled as at the time of filing this report.
The fire which occurred around 1am destroyed varying goods and properties said to worth millions.
It was gathered that owners of the shops woke to behold the ruins of the fire incident.

Hon Nasiru Fayoyin who confirmed the incident in a telephone interview, described the incident as a set back to the traders affected by the inferno urged government of the state and other well-meaning Nigerian to come to the aid of the victims.

Why I'm Contesting Ila state constituency seat - Fabayo

The Restoration Party of Nigeria (RP) candidate for Ila state constituency, Osun State House of Assembly, Mr Olalekan Fabayo on Monday said his passion is to bring more state presence and dividends of democracy to the masses if elected.
Fabayo gave the promise while speaking with newsmen during a special fundraising program organized by friends of Fabayo and Fabayo support group FSG.
The osun based indigenous broadcaster pledged to put smiles on the people of the constituency if emerged the winner of the March 2nd polls.
According to him "my priority is to be the voice of the voiceless by creating an enabling opportunities and environment for the good people of ila state constituency in order to reap the dividends of democracy in Osun and Nigeria at large" noting that he would create an open door policy by hosting regular town hall meetings with all stakeholders and leaders of thoughts quarterly.
Fabayo urged the people of ila state constituency to vote rightly to reduce the number of void votes during the election and vote for the Restoration Party of Nigeria RP.
